History, nostalgic longing and inevitable decay. . . mixed media photography, painting and illustration are used to realise the subjects under investigation. The work has undercurrents of childhood experience, of abandoned place and stories of 'heroic' exploits of cinematic war as told through the monochromatic lens of Anderson, Balcon and Cavalcanti, are all here gently rotting away.
