The Ghosts of Place - Dylan Trigg, Jacques Derrida and hauntology: An obsolete culture?
I've long admired and avidly read Dylan Trigg's works. The Aesthetics of Decay was key in my own post-graduate studies of 2008 - an obsession with mechanical entropy.
Here, he looks in on what Derrida in a jovial mood, called hauntology. Itself, a play on ontology and what he saw as the spectre of Marxism.
Ghosts in the machines perhaps?
